Junius : album, [ca. 1820]

Small album of facsimiles, autographs, portrait engravings, and biographical clippings pertaining to individuals involved in the "Junius" controversy or suspected of the authorship of the letters. Contents include six plates reproducing samples of the handwritings of "Junius" and others; portraits of Charles Yorke, William Woodfall, Lords Loughborough, Rockingham, and Weymouth, the Dukes of Grafton and Portland, and others; and several autograph documents, including a frank by Lord Portland, a note from the Duke of Grafton to James Lowther, and a portion of an order signed by George III and Lord Weymouth.
